first time shooting from the water with the Canon 7d. all footage was shot at 60p. did experience some overheating with the sensor but wasnt too bad. footage is super compressed. i will try to upload the full res later on.

    And yes i have been shooting with the 7d in a waterhousing for a while and get weird errors and the camera freezes needing to take it out and reset it by taking the battery out
    doesn't give me an error message like it used to just frozen. Happens only in water housing and only while shooting stills i think it only happens at the fast drive speed. i have the best memory and video works no problem. the problem is getting worse to the point were i cant even shoot any stills out of my waterhousing. on land the camera is perfect. I shoot in water 2-4 times a week and it is super frustrating, canon just can't figure it out when i call them
    are you having a similar issue.?

    nice, could have used some colour correction to punch things up a bit, and the sound keeps skipping.

    Thanks Josh, im still learning how to edit video. as for the sound it doesnt skip on the 3 computers i have watched it on.

    I hear the skipping too... I had this problem before and if you are editing in FCP then it doesn't fully support MP3 files... so you have to convert it to AIFF in iTunes. That is at least what i found. Great job though!

    cool video, im pretty keen on getting the eos 7D. im currently using a 40D in an spl housing. did you customise your housing in order to press the record button at the back of the camera?

    SPL is actually making 7d housings already. i dont like the image quality of the 7d but the video is nice

    yeah i think for me to get another housing and have it sent to ireland might be a bit pricey, i know it will fit in my own housing but i have no way to press the record button...whats wrong with the picture quality? i am expecting high noise levels but i havent heard much else

    I was shooting with a D3 before. i think canon stuffed to many pixels into that sensor they put into the 7D
