Purpose: To activate and contract the muscles necessary for movement in bed
Perform if Bed Mobility Progression 1 is performed without pain.
1. Lift buttocks
2. Lift buttocks and alternate lifting legs with buttocks suspeneded in the air
3. Lift buttocks with one leg keep the opposite leg straight.
4. Perform each step 10 times in this order.
*If there is pain with any step begin again at Bed Mobility Progression 1
