Purpose: To activate and contract the muscles necessary for movement in bed
Perform only if bed mobility progression 2 is pain free
1. Lie on back lift and hold buttocks in air straighten one leg
2. Draw leg across front of body and return
3. Move leg outward and back to midline.
4. Perform 10 times each leg each step.
*If painful revert back to bed mobility progression 2.
