iStanford is an iPhone application that allows users to stay connected to Stanford University. Users can search the university directory, search for buildings and use GPS to navigate campus, view the university event calendar, browse for courses, get the latest athletics scores and schedules, and much more. The most recent features include being able to add and drop classes by authenticating within the application, and also being able to see the location of the Marguerite buses in real time. This is the second iStanford commercial (the first one was made in October 2009 along with the application's initial release, see here: vimeo.com/1990681). This commercial will air on the Jumbotron at all of the Stanford home football games this season! iStanford is powered by MobilEdu, a mobile platform that any institution can implement, offered by Blackboard, Inc.
