Are you able to make changes to your divorce agreement?
Your divorce agreement is meant to last a lifetime, right? Well, then at least until all the kids are out of the house, right? Well what happens if you want to change your divorce agreement and your ex-spouse is unwilling to do so? Are you able to make changes? If so how do you go about doing it? Does it mean a lot of litigation (for some of us - again!)? Well, the bottom line is that if your ex-spouse isn't willing to make changes to the agreement, then the only way to change it is with the approval of a court (Rabbinic or Family, depending on where it was affirmed) – but it isn't going to be so easy to get. Wanna know when you will be able to get the agreement changed?
