This music video for R.A.S. Movement's song "Zion" (featuring Naima Adedapo) was created in Fall 2012 by students at NOVA High School as part of Milwaukee Film's Education Program workshops.

In this six-week workshop, students learned about the music video genre, choosing what conventions to employ and which to subvert. They were involved with the entire production process--from conceptualizing, to shooting, to editing. Ultimately two edits were created. The students then chose one to be the "final cut" that you see here.

Special thanks to the Herzfeld Foundation, the Greater Milwaukee Foundation's Mary L. Nohl Fund, and the Milwaukee Public Schools Partnership for the Arts and Humanities program, without whose support these programs would not be possible.
