To tell the story of how the Black woman became a barrier of all the world’s disappointments, an excavation of pride and self-reliance of how she perceives herself was in order. This is a narrative driven by the poem entitled, “On the Tenth Day” by writer/rapper Cooley Savant. The story is soaked in a truth planted deep in the roots of African American culture; a truth that self-condemns Black women to this day.
