Traditional end of New Year Celebrations in Tong Fuk Village, Hong Kong.
1 Dragon, 4 Lions and 2 Unicorns performed for the 2,000 villagers of Tong Fuk and guests from neighbouring Lo Wai, San Wai and Shui Hau villages.
Daytime worshipping of Village Temples, Gods/Goddesses, followed by 8 century old traditional 'Big Basin' meal.
An event usually reserved solely for the Tang and Chan clans of Tong Fuk village, I was very honoured to have been invited to join their festivities.
Hope you enjoyed a little bit of a fast vanishing tradition.
Thank you for watching.

You originally from HK too?
Pete, I like to hear your comments on the Sanyo HD1000 and the iMovie, I am thinking to switch to Apple.
Once again your videos are A+.
Thanks again for the compliments Pebbles. I am certain that your switch to Apple will be a wonderful one!
If there's any place you would like me to tape of HK, previous home, school etc, I would be more than happy to do so!
And thank you too for liking our vid.
Loved your video of the rollercoaster on wings. ;D
Wish I could do something like that.
So far, all of my clips were shot at 720P 60fps.
Edited in iMovie HD and exported as H.264.
Used the Vimeo suggested compression guidelines vimeo.com/forums/topic:4331 with the exception of using a Data rate of 5000 kbits/sec instead of 3000 kbits/sec for a hopefully better quality.
Hope this helps!
