2009 Yee-Haw It's LeMons Texas - One Lap of MSR Houston
1 month ago
This was in-car footage shot by Team Unintended Acceleration, during the 2009 24 Hours of LeMons Yee-Haw It's LeMons Texas endurance race. This is one lap of MSR Houston in a Mazda Miata.
This video was shot using a brand new Kodak Zi8 video camera. The resolution was set at 720p/30 fps (medium quality). Audio is from the built-in microphone (mono). The raw .mov was converted to .avi, which I then imported into Windows Movie Maker and exported as a Windows Media HD 720p file. Yes, I need a Mac.

P.S. I would be interested in any photos or videos of our cars (#444 Audi and #17 Miata) from this event. Thanks!

How did you convert the .mov to .avi? I haven't figured that one out.
No, I haven't tried the Arcsoft software. I converted the file to .avi using:
sourceforge.net/projects/mp4cam2avi/
It’s free, it’s fast (converts 2GB file in about three minutes), and has both joining and batch operation for multiple files. Left column is input, right column is output, middle column is status and video display (which doesn’t work during conversion of my files, but doesn’t matter). The only hint I can think to give you is that on the audio format drop-down, you will probably want to select PCM. When I selected Source, I lost my audio.
Hope this works for you,
Jimmy
