Rubber boots came into fashion here a couple of years ago..girls used to wear them with skirts when it rained...they've never suited me though..(I was not even amphibious! *_* )

Bodies of still water in Indiana remind me of my own Indiana childhood nemesis: mosquitos! I guess that is the glass half empty side, whereas the rubber boot wading opportunities are the glass half full. I like your glass better!
