For a Disneyland, it was pretty sub par. The park itself is about a third the size of the California Disneyland, which makes it about 5% of Disneyworld. It only opened two years ago, so Ashley and I think they may be starting small and planning for growth. Rather than a lot of rides, there were a ton of live shows and empty green bushes where rides could go. It’s a Small World was still being built.

Regardless of the noticeable lack of rides, it was worth every penny for the weird cultural experience. Being at an Asian theme park may have been the first time that I’ve been around Ashley where other people were taking more pictures than her. And like the Hong Kong subway, the nuances of waiting in line just aren’t the same.

Cool! I love the teacups; I'm glad to see they have them in Hong Kong!
