Some of the footage captured on my first trip to Mexico. Just discovered slow motion with the 60p on the 7D, thus the abuse, just had to get it out of my system.

Hey... The video is awesome!!!... Some of the shots looked as if straight out of some mexican style hollywood movie. They reminded me of the Zorro movies to me... Congrats!!!

Btw, did you shoot entirely on 7d??? Or did you also use 5DmkII. It lloked to me that more than one camera was used??? And also how did you record the sound??? At the end though there was some cut in the video in terms of time, the sound seemed to be in continuity. Gave me an impression that sound was recorded seprately.

    Thank you sir.
Used both 7D and 5DMk2, recorded sound with onboard camera mic, the cut is in the edit.

which shots exactly were the 5d? It seems as if the first shot is 5D? Second close up of diver is 7D? quality is quite noticeable??
  • jehu Garcia plus 2 months ago
correct the steady wide shot is the 5d, i had the 7d handheld, and all of the slow motion shots are 7d footage.

thanks for your reply Jehu. Other than the variety in frame rates, it seems obvious that the full frame on the 5D wins. At such a low price the 7D looks to be the cleverest marketing tool I can think of.

Great stuff! Wish I had a nice small camera like this, still torn between the beauty of the 5d and the great low price of the 7d.
