This is a short documentary about a small village 45min east of Vienna, in an area called "Waldviertel". Things are going slow there ... seems like a romantic leftover from the last century.

I immediately got captured by the beauty of the landscape, and the silent charm of this forgotten place.

Filmed with the Lumix GH1.

    I love it! The images and the music flow well together. I'm very impressed with the GH1. Love the shot of the old man walking off into the distance after sharing his thoughts. Great work!

    Gunther, did you use the kit lens? Also when filming this, did you the full-auto-focus or manual focus? Great video.....

    Dear Myaplim, I used the kit lens. I never go with full auto focus. I mostly use manual focus and the small rectangle which allows you to choose which section should be in focus. best regards, Gunther
