I got this random phonecall that was just a bunch of weird voicemails. Eventually I ended up in a menu that helped me discover that this website was behind it all:

    Hi there! I work at SayNow - so sorry for the confusion! We just started experimenting with a feature that lets people forward messages to their friends, so someone you know may have sent it to you or someone may have accidentally punched in the wrong number. Usually we play a message from the sender so the receiver knows who it's from!

    I'd be super grateful if you could send me an email at may(at)saynow(dot)com and let me know if you heard something that sounded like an intro message from the sender or if you have the number that showed up in your callerID!

    Yeah, it just started in the middle of a random message. Cool idea for a service. It's a treasure trove of people saying weird things. I could listen for hours.

    I once put a post on a public forum asking people to leave me voicemail on my old mobile number. the result was really fun to listen to. :)
