Purpose: To re-educate the body to bend and lift primarily with hips while bracing the spine. This may be helpful for back injury prevention

1. Notice the first 2 repetitions involve little knee bend and hip action resulting in spine flexion and the use of the spine to create lifting force.
2.The last 2 repetitions involve greater knee bending and hip action with the weight transferred to the heels moving buttocks back preventing spine flexion and producing force with the hips and thighs.
*Maintaining close proximity to object being lifted is very important
