This is the sequence I made while interning at the Studio NYC.
Sometimes, when you are participating in a grueling commute, it seems the universe conspires against you—every form of transportation is late, and every person around you is an obstacle. This sequential art is about that mysterious force in the universe, the demi-gods and fallen angels, who wreak havoc on commuters. In Grand Central, where our brief tale takes place, there is a curved ceiling with gold painted astrology figures. They are painted to look down at the Main Concourse. While tourists may look up to admire the art, commuters will pay no mind to the ceiling. In order to spite the commuters, the painted astrology figures come to life, causing a series of troubles for our protagonist when she accidentally interrupts a tourist photographing the painting's beauty.
