Software used: Nuke, Houdini, Photoshop, Premiere and GIMP.

"Nimbus" - NCCA Masters Project
Contribution: Shot 4 - All Work
Key Skills Learnt/Developed:
3D - Effects Development; this includes refinement of all the clouds within the scene, projection of live actors onto the 3D ship and the building of a Houdini Mountain Asset with procedural snow. All done within Houdini 12.5.
2D - All composite work seen; this includes paint and roto, grading, sun effects and use of practical acquisition. All done using Nuke 6.3.

"Acid-Etched" - NCCA DE Technique
Contribution: All Work
Key Skills Learnt/Developed:
3D - Full development of corrosion effect using Flip-Fluids and RBDs, environment texturing was done using projections. Camera matching of backplate. All done within Houdini 12.1.
2D - All composite work seen; this includes paint and roto, grading, All done using Nuke 6.3. Painting out of certain elements within the original backplate was done in Photoshop.

3D - Effects Development; which includes the cloud carve and creation of "Hero" clouds within the scene. All done within Houdini 12.5.

"Oilscape" - NCCA Group Project
Contribution: Modelling and texturing of oil valve (shot 5), development of pipe model asset (all shots), modelling and texturing of bridge (shot 4), scene building, lighting and rendering of shots 4 and 5
Key Skills Learnt/Developed:
3D - Development of Houdini oil pipe digital asset from concept to final piece within a development workflow, Modelling and texturing within Houdini, general construction of scenes within a 3D production pipeline. All done within Houdini 12.1

3D - Effects Development; which includes the cloud "wake", cloud movement and the creation of "Hero" clouds within the scene . All done within Houdini 12.5.
