Just the fact that this flick was a parody of two of my favorite films makes me love it. But it was also the last film of the series and the whole thing just came together. Shot in that same unique blah, this thing is funny. Its sad, but yes we rewrote the soundtrack of Red Dawn. The film was shot for 3 of my Georgia State film school classes and can be broken down three ways. 1.) Visually, this was for a lighting class... it came in 1st place. 2.) It was for a French New Wave class and can be critiqued in its techniques of visual storytelling. 3.) It was a film about how censorship can make regular words sound worse than they really are. NO. UPON A SECOND WATCH YOU WILL REALIZE YOU ARE WATCHING A PRETTY GENIUS STUDENTFILM. It may have cult like characters, but at its heart is a single page of film theory no one understands. This is my film school stab. GOTTA LOVE SOME "THE EVIL DAWN." ;) Misspellings were intentional.
