Here 2000+ 1/4" fiberglass rods are put into the ground in a grid pattern and two lasers with various patters are scanned across the field. This is part of of the Sound Transit STart project headed by Barbara Luecke, a program that manages public art development projects for a Tri County transit system of buses, trains, and now light rail.

This location is the future home of the Capitol Hill light rail station located at Broadway and Denny in Seattle Washington. The instillation opens on October 31st, 2009 and will run until just before Thanksgiving weekend.
