Peter Cooley's advanced poetry workshop class in the Tulane University Department of English discusses the work of poet C.D. Wright in advance of Wright's visit to campus as the 11th Florie Gale Arons Poet at Newcomb College Center for Research on Women. The text is the book _Deepstep Come Shining_.

On Monday, November 9, 2009, C. D. Wright will visit two poetry workshops and offer a public reading from her work.

Wright's reading will take place at 730 pm in Freeman Auditorium in the Woldenberg Art Center at Tulane University.
