How much do a pair of shoes say about their owner's walk of life? The flip flops, high heels and sneakers decorated by participants of the BWH Shoe Project speak volumes about the impact of domestic violence on their lives. "Sole Healing" captures a few of these participants' personal stories, providing a glimpse into the devastating effects of domestic violence and the inspiring work of those who help survivors heal. The Shoe Project was on display at BWH in honor of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
