"Woman's World" is a song performed by American recording artist Cher, recorded for her upcoming twenty-sixth studio album Closer to the Truth (2013). It was written by Matt Morris, Paul Oakenfold and Anthony Crawford, while production was handled by Oakenfold and JD Walker. Musically, the song falls under the dance-pop genre and borrows elements of Europop and house. Lyrically, the song is a female empowerment anthem, in which Cher exclaims that she is "strong enough to rise above" because "this is a woman's world". Through Twitter and her official website, Cher announced she would premiere the song on the season finale of the American singing competition, The Voice.

Shortly after, a lyric video was posted on Cher's YouTube channel and the single appeared for purchase and streaming on iTunes, Amazon.com and Spotify. On June 18, 2013, Cher's album was made available to pre-order on iTunes, upon doing so, "Woman's World" would become an instant download. "Woman's World" became a modest hit on Billboard's top-selling electronic dance music chart. On the Hot Dance Club Songs chart, it became Cher's eighth number-one single, after being the greatest-gainer for its fourth, consecutive week. On the Adult Contemporary chart "Woman's World" debuted at number 30, making Cher one of few artists to have appeared on that chart in every one of the last six decades.[1]
