As part of its educational outreach program, the Del Mar TV Foundation collaborated with 14 sixth-grade students from Del Mar Hills Academy to create an environmental documentary, "Save IT for ME".
The children and their teacher shared a passion and vision for saving the earth's natural resourses, so they invented the title "Save IT for ME." The program is a seed planted by children to tell us – and show us – that without changing our individual and community lifestyles, we will jeopardize our - and their - future.
This informative and educational program was made possible by a $10,000 cable TV grant award from the County of San Diego and $2,500 from the Hattie Ettinger Conservation Fund with The San Diego Foundation.
