One Blustery Morning
This was one very cold morning. Ambient temperatures were near 0F and the wind was blowing 15-20 MPH with higher gusts. What I found at the northern end of Crawford Notch was a monochromatic land of clouds and ice.
Footage was shot with my Canon XH A1. Edited in Premier Pro CS3. Some color correction was done to pull up the startling brightness of the ice covered branches. Gamma was pulled down to make the branches pop. There wasn't much color due to the heavy cloud cover, so the images were de-saturated a bit to reflect what it really looked like out there.
I was only good for about an hour in that cold. When I started not being able to feel my fingers, I figured it was time to go for coffee.
Comments always welcome! Tell me what you think.
