The Doctor leaves Dr Grace and the year 2000 behind him as the TARDIS goes haywire, ending up in 1978 Cardiff Wales.
A few members of Torchwood have taken it upon themselves to experiment with synthetic vampire blood on human females. Rocker Alan Merrill barely escapes a vampire attack as he winds up in the TARDIS with the 8th Doctor.
