Pressure-Sensitive Password Checker is a research prototype that aims to enhance password security by incorporating pressure patterns of typing in password authentication. A specialized hardware device, a pressure-sensitive keyboard provided by Microsoft, that can detect different levels of pressure of each keystroke was used for implementing the prototype. This work was presented at UIST 2009 Student Innovation Contest.
