An experimental film by Haiko Magtrayo, a fourth year Educational Communication student of the Development Communication Department of Xavier University's College of Agriculture.
Magtrayo describes his film as dark, and it’s raining in a quite hill where peace is a myth. A man is lying in a
coffin as he puffs a cigarette, listening to the chirps of crickets and croaks of frogs. Then, a girl screams for help, somewhere in a dark corner, and a gunshot is heard. Sound of chainsaw echoes all over. As he opens his window, the birds are chattering after a tree crushed to the ground. Bulldozers are dogging deep on a rich soil. On the same ground, a selfish foreign businessman is standing tall as he commands his slaves who call him savior. In a blink, thousands of lives ended as muds and rocks covered them.
