We shot on bluescreen with a DVX100 (don't do this at home) There are some trackers on the set we used later for movement matching with the 3d software.

Techniques used: chroma key, motion tracking, camera mapping, matte paintings. For a pro, there will be a lot of flaws, but i want to mention this is 5 years old work with no budget.

Glam look of artist is done using a batch action in PS

Software used: 3Dmax for backgrounds, Boujou for motion tracking, Combustion for composting, PS for CC.
