A quick, simple method to make a miniture rose bud from flax. Best suited to soft thin strips. I use up the tails cut from weaving kete whakairo and they look good presented in little bunches of 12 or so. The bud are hap-hazard under close scrutiney but in little bunches look like the real thing. This same method is used to make small satin ribbon rose buds.
