Andrew Woods is the currator of Numismatics, Coins, Medals, Tokens and Bank Notes for York Museum's Trust. Before that he was based at the Department of Archaeology and the Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge. He has a article charting the use of money in Medieval Dublin XIII (Four Courts Press, 2013) and an article on Ireland's early Medieval coinage in Early Medieval Monetary History: Studies in honour of Mark Blackburn (Publication date: 2014).
