Cheryl and Sebastien tied the knot in pittoresque, yet chilly, Montreal on June 22, 2013. Monique Simone, their photographer extraordinaire, called me just a few days before the wedding. Luckily, I was available. Luckily for them but also luckily for me, because I got the chance to meet a very smart couple (they both graduated from Harvard Business School), a lovely and so in love couple (as you can see) and a touching group of families and friends, who vowed in unison to support them in their marriage.
As Cheryl's younger sister Charlene said, while officiating the wedding, "this union not only brings together two people but also two families, two traditions, two systems of roots, with the hope that a new family tree will grow just as strong and faithful as the ones they come from".
And this is why I feel so lucky! Because I get to witness such beautiful, intimate and authentic unions.
