Event Video: "Towards We.Gov: Restoring Trust In Our Elections Systems", hosted by The Hollywood Hill as an introduction to the Open Source Digital Voting Foundation (OSDV).
Event Blurb: OSDV Foundation’s Co-Executive Director, Gregory Miller, will introduce you to a non-profit Silicon Valley project making headway to reinvent the nation’s voting systems. Not just another think-tank writing white papers or pushing for legislative reform, the Foundation’s TrustTheVote Project is building transparent publicly-owned technology that people can see, touch, and try, and governments can freely adopt and deploy.
Speakers: Featuring a presentation by Gregory Miller, OSDV's Chief Development Officer, and a panel discussion moderated by Gregory Miller with guest panelists Debra Bowen (CA Secretary of State), Mitch Kapor (Director, Mitch Kapor Foundation), Heather Smith (Executive Director, RockTheVote), and Dean Logan (Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder).
Filmed on location Wednesday, October 21st, 7:30pm, at the home of film producer Lawrence Bender, Bel Air, CA.
