Building a skyscraper in the core of one of the busiest city’s in North America is a big task. Building one on the footstep of a pre-existing footing and a functioning parking garage with thousands of daily pedestrians that are within a metre of massive machinery makes this project an incredible challenge.
As one of the premier demolition companies in Canada, Priestly Demolition was provided the task to create a new footing by carving out a massive amount of existing concrete slab and removing the giant support columns that were left behind from a building that was never built.
The Bay and Adelaide Centre is a unique project for Priestly Demolition, but no job is too big for this outfit. This video shows what it takes to get a job of this magnitude finished on time and on budget.
