It's always great to see a bts done well. Nice stuff Kevin!

Maybe it's me, but to my ears the music track sounds as if it could be lowered quite a bit more during the dialog (which doesn't sound centered and probably should be for better voice clarity). I'm not nitpickin' by any means. It's just some things stick out to me at times. :D Other than that... awesome!

Kevin, you know how I feel about this one :-) You're not only raising the bar for concept films, but certainly this stands out in our collection of BTS clips. Awesome!

Absolutely stunning work! The camera work, the grips, the locations, the people, the story. A small piece of art that bubbles my mind. How did you pull this out of an XHA1? I would love to chat with you about your workflow and experience with this camera. It must be a mix of the lightning, preset and grading. If you are will to share some of your experience, I would be delighted. I am trying to pull the natural/vivid looking colors out of the XHA1 for a year now, but with out this result.
I have seen three of your movies know, can't wait to see more. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Jannes, thanks for watching. You're right, its a mix of proper lighting, presets and some grading, but in the digital world, my opinion is you've really got to nail it in-camera as best you can. This year we're going to start doing more education and we would love to have you. Keep in touch directly via info@pacificpictures.net.

Pretty crazy, the amount of effort you put into your work. Not only that, I'm a gear head, and seeing you use all of that gear is pretty slick. Nice work :)

I love BTS footage. It brings to the forefront all the hard work that goes behind getting the shot. You rocked this concept video Kevin. Thanks for sharing some of the effort that went into making it shine.

You just caused my jaw to drop to floor…!

Now I know what I've been missing all this time. Have studied photography and video in few places but seriously, this (and your latest City of Lakes -trailer/movie) made me realize how much could be done with live video. Seriously, huge appreciation to your efforts to tell stories with moving pictures. You surely got one new fan for your work.

It's great to see that there are people who want to do things well to create something that moves beyond what most people could even imagine of. Certainly good use of skills and talent. Hopefully we see much more from you in the future.
