Yunnan : A Video Journal

This was my first video montage edited in 2003 and taken from footage of a journey in Yunnan, south west China. A good majority of the people I filmed were people with whom I had spent time and shared memorable moments. This was, and I hope to some extent still remains a part of China that holds to tradition with great pride. It is also the most diverse province of China in terms of minorities and cultures.
I love this part of China and I love the people I met - some of whom I'd already photographed back in 1994.
