Joel Kaziro 1 year agoI love Don Carson but if people are compeltely unrepentant in Hell then why is the Rich man in Hades (Luke 16 I think?!?), so full of sorrow for his actions on earth that he wants to return there to warn his relatives? -
Andrew Morrison 1 year agoJoel, if you look closely at Luke 16, the rich man doesn't express repentance, but begs for mercy, and interestingly, wants it shown to him by having the poor Lazarus serve his needs by dripping water on his tongue and going to warn his relatives. The rich man doesn't ask to get out of hell for relief nor to warn his relatives; he wants Lazarus to leave heaven for both reasons. Tim Keller talks more about it: sermons2.redeemer.com/sermons/hell-isnt-god-christianity-angry-judge -
Alex Smith 11 months agoI realise this was posted about a year ago, but was it recorded in 2009 too?
