Located in Banff National Park sits Rockbound Lake. An incredible hike through some of Alberta`s lush wildflower meadows leading towards Tower Lake beneath Castle Mountain's southeast flank. A short pass up and over a rock shoulder opens up to Rockbounds bounty. On account of the upper Castle Mountain Fault which has thrust older sedimentary and metamorphic rocks forming. Compact bullet proof dolomite limestone boulders have been tossed to the valley`s floor along the Lake and Helena Ridge. A climber`s dream come true.
