In a mixed light setting the white focus is important. It copes well in auto but it is slightly out so for a professional filming it is best to do it in manual.
First you switch off AWB
Then you go to either of the two buttons under the white balance selection.
You need a white piece of paper or balance card in front of the face to balance from.
You press the button next to the white balance button, it flashes, it takes it, tells you the kelvin. You then pull out the focus and you have a good white balance. So what you see on the LCD screen is what you see with your eye
