So for my Zombie course at UNBF in Canada, we were told to free ourselves and go crazy with our Creative Assignment portion for the course.

I have been a fan of the US version of The Office for a long time now and thought it would be interesting to mash the two subjects together.

The Office Zombie is a literary/narrative mashup of 'The Office' and zombies. Shot over 7 hours and edited to give the short flick 'The Office' visual style.

Synopsis:

The Monday after Halloween weekend, manager SHANE of a recording company arrives to his office looking rather odd. Office trooper LEWIN discovers that SHANE was bitten and is becoming more and more like a zombie.

ZACK is the only voice of reason in the situation as JENNY (the office secretary) is very unsure. AKEEM (the new intern) is having a terrible time being recognized with his salad-bar race and WALTER, the 'office gangster' makes a crucial company discovery.

For the instructor:

Major theme include characters experiencing the uncanny, being familiar with Shane's human form and being highly unfamiliar with Shane's altered state.

Lewin brings us through his survival tactics and informs us of his membership of a zombie response initiative group to share information and pool resources and knowledge.

Several class-activity-referencing jokes also occur throughout the film.
