12. ZaZa slider 1st test footage.

This is some test footage from a sort of home made tripod mounted rail system for video shooting. Shot with a Canon 7d. I only just finished constructing this thing and this was the first time I tried it. There's room for improvement but it's a pretty good start. Eventually there will be more info on this on my blog dancarrphotography.com/blog once I have ironed out some bugs and made some modifications.
The most important thing for me about this rail system is its relative portability compared with a track based dolly system. This slider is very portable. I could easily ski with it if i needed to.

can you explain how have you build it?
I will explain when it is totally finished. Having tried this today I can see i need to make adjustments and I dont want to give people all the info about it until it is completed. Once I am happy with the results I will post everything on my blog and probably post a new video up here. I was in two minds as to whether to post this vid as it is sort of a "work in progress" so bear with me while I get the bugs ironed out!
