Ho is a Sonic Expedition to Vietnam guided through sound, envisaged and fully composed/designed by Ricardo Climent in 2009 at the Surround Wunderbar Studio, Berlin. It takes advantage of game technology in Blender 3D software and the best of Maxmsp using tags, Punakea and Spotlight search command on OS X.
This is one of many experiments carried out at NOVARS Reserch Centre in Studio 1 (31 speakers surround system of Genelecs).
In the layrinth scene, one needs to find the way out of the temple, guided by sound and doors which open and close. The journey aims to be more a journey of sonic discovery than anything else. The sailor will experience music composition by creating multiple layers of sound as they travel, deciding structures and sonic paths. Users may feel a bit disoriented with the images of the temple after a while so, they will need to trust their sonic insticts to avoid returing to where they started!. Watch out for the end of the maze... you may fall to the infinite of a blender view...
