nice emotion you captured Emanuele. Good choice of music, nicely edited. An HD camera like the 5D or 7D would have made this gorgeous.

I have made many videos like this in the past, because I worked a lot in the Alcohol industry: vimeo.com/7242177

Plus I've been to Genoa and that region, this is a very similar shot to yours that I did in Montalcino: weissfineart.com/p208629204/h31484550#h31484550

I like your video, keep up the good work.

Hi Steve! You're right: HD images are wonderfull. I have an HD camera, the great Sony PMW-EX1, but for this work I shoot with PD 170. I see your links: I love the pictures of MONTALCINO! ;-)

Very nice Emanuele, I agree with Steve using an HD camera would make your footage amazing. One day I would love to see those places in person.

You're right Alexander: I have an HD camera (PMW-EX1), but for this work I used for the last time my PD 170. Thanks!

Have to agree with the guys above. You owe it to yourself to get an HD camera.
  • Emanuele Caruso 30 days ago
You're right! As I said to the guys above, I sayd to you: it's true, with an HD camera this work would be different. I have an HD camera, the Sony PMW-EX1, but for this work I used, for the last time, my Sony PD 170.

Easy with that Crane Emanuele .. slowly does it!

I have to agree with one or two of the others, above, this film is not as photographically well considered as some of your other work.

You are a victim of your own high standards!
  • Emanuele Caruso 29 days ago
    Thanks Bob!
But is not so easy: I don't have any great crane. I have only a small one of 3 meters. :-)

But, I agree with you. "photographically" this video is not as other my work. But fot another reasons: I think infact if not enough have an HD camera to have a better photography!

You know in HD this woul... only kidding very nice shots, really captures the atmosphere. If you export this as HD (720P) it will look a lot better on vimeo. Pretty sure this will still look great on mah 50' plasma though. PD170 is a pretty nice cam.
  • Emanuele Caruso 27 days ago
I'll try to do in your way! Thanks Maarten!
