Sunlight and Ice
This was shot over a number of days in late December and January. I was intrigued by the ice on the cliffs and the changes it went through over time.
Shot on my XH A1 and edited in Premier, I tried a little different color correction by really stretching the shadows and highlights and bumping the saturation a bit. The varying light conditions across the shooting days was a bit of a challenge in matching the looks, but I think it came out fine.
Finally, I believe that cutting to music is a crutch... one I've used plenty of times so I try to stay away from it. But, when I heard the track by Try^d, I thought it would be perfect to enhance the effect. You'll have to judge for yourself whether it worked.
Comments always welcome! Tell me what you think.
