Carmina Burana is a scenic cantata composed by Carl Orff in 1935 and 1936. Here you see it performed by local musicians for the people of Bradford, as part of a series of events which are being held in Park Square at the heart of the city. Sporadic showers of rain and thunder failed to deter folks from attending, and merely added to the day's magical atmosphere as the sun went down and the Carmina reached its climax. The symphony was played by Bradford Catholic Youth Choir & Skipton Camerata; conducted by Thomas Leech.
