Wow....the vimeo gestapo shows up. Personally, I think this is hilarious. When the camera drops and pops up to James' face just staring him down like a Wild Thing. I laughed my ass off.

This behavior is UNACCEPTABLE. There was no reason for JG to act like this. If he was having a bad day or being pestered by people, that's the price you pay for
being an actor. What's he going to do, smack everyone who has a video camera, recording something and he gets caught in the recording. Please Jimbo, rein in that temper, your NOT the only actor out there. JG should be charged with A & B, and should have to buy the guy a new camera. The LAW applies to everyone, and Jimbo
is NO exception. This kind of behavior will KILL your career FAST Jimbo. No EXCUSES!!!!

First of all, he knows that by law he's considered a public figure and lost his rights to privacy in public places for one. Any good journalist should know this. Also it looked as though the kid was filming his mother and John kind of walked into the scene which many other actors would have even said hello to the kid and his mom and given them autographs in exchange for the film or whatever. If he's going around beating up every kid with a camera knowing all this then he shouldn't be considered above the law and a equal citizen like everyone else. Ya I said it John, what you gonna do? I'm bigger than you so don't even try it dude! Besides I don't have a lot to say about strangers who beat up on some mother's kids. Anything for publicity right?

What a wuss the stalker is, calling that a punch, come take photos of my kids and he will know what a real punch is. The stalkers get what they deserve, when they get 'punched', lmao.

You want a picture of someone? Then just ask. You want James to appear in your little video or make money off his face? Hire him. This photographer was obviously NOT a kid - just look at his shoe size when the camera crashes into the ground...

Anytime you feel you are being threatened physically the law allows for preeminent self defense, you don't have to wait for someone to take the first punch. I'm talking about the guy who got assaulted here. So next time this photog should try kicking him in the balls, I would have dropped that fat ass to his knees.

As for Tony, realize when you are in a public place you surrender your right to privacy. As much as you like to think you deserve special treatment, this applies to celebrities as well.

Frankly I don't actually see any assault. The videotaper turned tail and took the camera of Mr. Gandolfini when he realized that he had pushed the buttons too often and while the audio could be from physical contact there is no way to be sure.

By the way, that dude needs to come out from behind his mama's skirt.

2 Things.

1. I have met James before, and he is a completely normal blue-collar type guy. It was a great encounter.

2. If someone is following you and your family around with a video camera in a voyeuristic way, (i don't care who you are) you clearly are going to want them to stop.

In any other "normal" scenario, (if you count video taping strangers normal) of video taping a random person, someone would have confronted this kid, and he would have **** in his pants and turned the camera off immediately.

It's pathetic some of these guys sit around and hope to instigate lawsuits with celebrities, instead of being respectful photographers.
