Music : Unforscene - So Long

So that's the beginning/first part of something I'd like to be a little bit longer. But my problem is for the moment, that's the only subject I can find for that. I thought yesterday that maybe windmills could be great too but that's all I've got for now (and it's with a blue background too). So if you have any idea, that would be great.

  • I'm tapping my toe here waiting rems.

    hahaha

    almost done. :-)

  • I'm going to message you right now regarding this...
  • I like the Painting, what if you incorporated that into the video.
  • Remyyy plus 2 years ago
Ahh, the painting was for me just a way to put the idea on paper. And for the rest of the video, I'd like to use the same "principle" so :). Thanks for the idea.
  • Hahah Rems your ideas are so cute and whimsical. You have the heart of a child. We'll brainstorm more, this is really good. You know who would give helpful advice as well...chuck mcCarths...

  • OMG....blown away man. I'll try and think of something too

Ahh, Wmv. I don't even know how you can support editing with this, but no choice I suppose. Hee, makes years you haven't made a video sir !!

AMAZING! There are so many talented people on this site. You are so creative, Remyyy.

Let me add: You are one hell of an editer. You obviously practice to perfect your craft. And you, like many others here (i.e. Karen Abad) have a voice.

    Thanks a lot Paul !!

I love the video. Although I think it starts and stops a bit abruptly, it kind of surprises me. Maybe a fade in/out to both the video and the music will work better.
  • Remyyy plus 2 years ago
Always like your feedback Eugenia. I personally like the beginning where suddenly the plane is appearing but it's indeed abrupt, for sure. For the end, it's only temporary (and maybe the beginning too) waiting to add a second/third/... part.

  • i really like how the contrails and plane lead one another in to the next frame.
  • Remyyy plus 2 years ago
I tried to make it all the video long but it was too hard. I tried to send fire message to the pilots but they didn't change their directions for me. Maybe I wasn't spelling good in the fire language.

You have to be very talented to speak in smoke signals.
  • Remyyy plus 2 years ago
Ahah, smoke signals ! How could I forget these words !!
  • jon_madrid 2 years ago
You should come to madrid, Remy. The sky is always painted by planes. Shooting stars in the sunset (also sunrise).
  • Remyyy plus 2 years ago
Ahah, I'll do that Jon, thanks for the tip !
  •
  • Remyyy plus 2 years ago
C'est pourquoi ton message me plait bien. J'aime beaucoup ton idee. Je ne pense pas utiliser ce systeme de coupes tout le long ou sinon, ça deviendra ennuyeux. Enfin, voilà, un "projet" sympa encore. merci pour tes idees/conseils.

I just thought of ants...moving around on the ground...what happened to the windmill-idea? oh wait, the sea.... a crayfish, moving in the wet sand, leaving its prints on the ground? But that might take a bit long to record...and to find such a crayfish, haha.
You should go further with your idea, am really excited to see some new stuff! :)
  • Remyyy plus 2 years ago
ahahah, thanks for your ideas ! I don't have a crayfish as a friend right now, so this one could be a bit difficult but I'm still on the idea of the windmills (hadn't the time yet) and I'll think about the ants.

Remmy this is still so great.

I was peeking again at my Portland trip as blogged on IT IN place:
    futureofthebook.org/itinplace/archives/2008/03/

I want you to teach me how to use the advanced editing programs. I just do I movie. We need to get you to New York of the meet up in June. Is it Possible?
  • Remyyy plus 1 year ago
Ahah, Alex, that would be super nice, completely fantastic but my biggest problem is I can't take holidays before August. But I'm thinking next year would be great. I would have money, and time. If you can wait, I'll "teach" you all this stuff if I can, ahah. Have a good day Alex !
