A quick little 7D video I did in the park with my son Brogan. No post work has been done other than basic editing and sound overlay. All footage is straight from the camera.

I'm new to video, so please critique and enjoy!

Very nice! How much was hand-held VS tripod use? Also, what did you use for editing? I'm on a Mac myself and am seriously considering this camera as my first real DSLR.

Steve,

Everything was actually shot using a monopod. I like the portability and ease of setup, and I find that the slight amount of movement gives the shot a little extra "life".

As for editing I did it all in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 on a Mac.

Get a 7D, you won't be disappointed!

I have to agree with Emeric, you have a great eye, so I assume you know how to handle a camera from before. :-) Great selection of shots, I love that you dare go close on your subject, and I mean real close, and don't try any crazy camera moves to follow your son with focus. Superb image quality, and this is just another one that makes the 5D Mk2 vs 7D even harder for me. Is there anything you DON'T like with the 7D?
