Short documentary film about kite surfing, kite boarding, about one club which name is "Get trauma". Now season is ended. I will continue shooting in winter time, it calls snow kiting. After that I will continue in spring time, because it would be my documentary diploma work. I don't know, maybe 20-30 min. Special Thanks to all "Get Trauma" group and Titas Petrikis which is great young music composer.
Shooted in Lithuania, in Kuršių lagoon with Canon 5D mark II. Canon 70-200mm f2.8 with extender 2x, Canon fisheye 15mm 2.8, Mamiya manual focus lenses (35, 45, 80, 150mm). Canon 5D underwater housing. Edited with Final Cut pro. Post production done by Magic Bullet Looks.

This is really well presented and beautifully shot.
A part of me wished that it was in Lithuanian (with English subtitles) and not English.
I have a thing for the sounds of others..... after living in the land of dubbing.

Thanks a lot guys, now I am waiting winter season to shoot snow kiting and snow boarding. It's sad that here, in Lithuania there is no big mountains. Maybe next summer I would try to do this sport :) All members are from Lithuania.

Oh it's not simple, I used a lot of filters, presets modified by myself. Every Scene is modified and it's my presets :)

Is it possible to get a smooth zoom with a still cam like the 5D??

yahh, would be great..In my dreams maybe :D If you would be my sponsor, then ok, I would come to shoot in Wyoming. I would like to go somewhere in to the mountains but it needs a lot of film budget. About zoom, actually I hate zoom, never using it. I work with fix lenses. But maybe it's possible to do smooth zoom, but it's complicated.

I really like the filming! What focal length did you end up using the most?
By Chance I took some pictures of kiteboarders / surfers in southern Spain today and last week. This sport is just very nice to watch and of course to photograph.

ohh it's difficult to say, different frame - different lenses :) I like very much 80mm, 150mm and 20mm. It's very visual sport :)
