San Diego's former mayor Bob Filner wants to move his sexual harassment lawsuit to Imperial County and the legal team for the woman suing him wants it to stay in San Diego. Filner's people say because the noise around the former mayor's resignation was so loud and widespread that his day in court won’t be fair if the suit stays in San Diego. But the plaintiff’s lawyers say that Filner should have a jury of his peers and that means staying in San Diego. The judge will hear the motion this afternoon at 1:30

This morning at 8:45 the preliminary hearing for Christian heavy metal singer Timothy Peter Lambesis will be assigned to a courtroom today. The 32-year-old is accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill his wife.

The first are some luxury apartments near Mission Valley and the other is a proposed development on the San Diego / Santee border.

At 10:00 AM San Diego County law enforcement is announcing that it’s going to start to use the federal Wireless Emergency Alert system to send out emergency information. They'll explain how it works and what to do when you get an alert.
