Overview of how the Outex LCD viewfinder works with cameras and other parts of the Outex system.

Script (as reference)

The LCD viewfinder expands the capabilities and flexibility of the Outex product. It extends the view and access of the camera’s LCD display, it expands Outex compatibility with a greater number of cameras, and it maintains access and control over your knobs and buttons.

If you’re using an LCD viewfinder adaptor thread the eyecup fitting into its LCD housing. This does not need to be threaded tight. Leave some wiggle room so you can pivot the Optic window left and right once it’s installed. This ensures greater viewing angle for the camera screen, and access to buttons that may be behind it.

Now move on to sliding the rear cover into the eyecup.

Pull the Outex cover over the internal optic assembly and then fit the cover around the ring and threads.

Place the O-Ring over the cover – making sure the L shaped edge is facing down.

Now you can complete the seal by threading on the third O-ring. You don’t need to over-tighten, but make sure its nice and tight.

Now, flip the camera over so you can repeat this process on the lens.

Start by threading in the filter ring.

Pull the Outex cover over the filter ring assembly and then fit the cover around the ring and threads.

Place the O-Ring over the cover – making sure the L shaped edge is facing down.

Complete the seal by threading on the third O-ring. You don’t need to over-tighten, but make sure its nice and tight.
